UK based indie pop rock band Amber Run has the potential to give others a run for their money.

amber-run-reviewConsisting of Will Jones as the lead guitarist, Tomas Sperring on bass, the lead vocals of Joe Keogh, Henry Wyeth on keyboard, and Felix Archer on drums; Amber Run delivers a more classic sound created with predominantly guitars and drums, with added piano. The five had been friends, and decided to form the band while studying at the University of Nottingham.

They were certainly busy leaving their mark on the music scene last year; in addition to supporting Kodaline on tour, they released three EPs in 2014: ‘Noah’, ‘Spark’ and ‘Pilot’. From the softer more acoustic sound of the track ‘Chamber’, to the slightly heavier, more drum infused ‘Pilot’, to the surprising addition of Jason Derulos’ ‘Watcha’ Say’ mashed with their track ‘Hide & Seek’ Amber Run’s three EPs give a good display as to what to expect on their next album. Another track, ‘Just My Soul Responding’ – which is set to be the first single off their debut album due sometime this year – is available on their VEVO.
